I met genuinely great people again at the Petsense in Palatka on Sunday and good pups were plentiful. John Morgan came in, simply seeing our sign outside, and told us about his first dog Gladus who he will never forget. He also shared some stories of his years spent playing drums with friend Gregg Allman. Leisha, a sweet woman, artist, and mom to many including her autistic son Blake we video chatted with, came in and bought a book for her mom. Jamie is a mom who works nights for her 5 kids and dog Rusty who made the time to make a second trip back, changing her mind and deciding that she wanted to have My First Dog for her oldest. Thank you Palatka for the fun stories, kind hearts, and great day of book sales! It was a pleasure meeting you all.
